July 2026 Developer Updates

We are excited to announce several key platform updates to enhance your Botsplash experience. These improvements focus on increasing flexibility, improving team coordination, and streamlining administrative tasks, ultimately empowering you to achieve your goals more effectively.

Unique Visitor Clicks

The "Top Pages" report under Channels → Web Chat has been upgraded to track unique visitor link clicks. Previously, if a single visitor clicked the same link five times, it would register as five individual clicks, skewing your engagement data. With this update, multiple clicks from the same user are consolidated, giving you a much more accurate picture of which pages and links genuinely capture your audience's interest.

Persistent Tab Selection When Switching Visitors

We have streamlined your navigation within the dashboard to save you time and clicks. When moving from one visitor profile to another, your selected tab (such as Campaigns, API Logs, or Activities) will now remain active. Previously, switching visitors would automatically reset your view back to the default tab; this change ensures a seamless transition when auditing specific data across multiple leads.

User-Friendly Timestamps

To make data review faster and more intuitive, timestamps shown under Extended Attributes will now display in a clear, easy-to-read format rather than a raw, unformatted value. This removes the guesswork for your team, allowing agents and administrators to quickly verify exact timelines at a glance.

Admin Access Expanded for Visitor Tasks Tab

We have expanded the accessibility of the Visitor Tasks tab to include administrators, whereas it was previously restricted to Superadmins only. This update empowers your admin team with the visibility they need to efficiently troubleshoot lead distribution issues, audit task assignments, and ensure no customer follow-up falls through the cracks.

New Visual Icons for Borrower Opt-Out + Scheduled Text

To improve on-screen clarity, the agent message dashboard now features two distinct visual indicators. A new scheduled text icon will appear whenever an agent has a message queued for future delivery to a visitor. Additionally, a clear borrower opt-out icon will instantly signal if a visitor has opted out of text messages, ensuring your team is immediately aware of communication preferences before trying to reach out.

Expanded Access for Suggested Replies & Attachments On Visitor Page

We have removed location restrictions on key communication tools. The Suggested Reply and Scheduled Message features are no longer confined strictly to the agent message dashboard. They both are now fully accessible directly from the main Visitor Page. This update gives your team greater flexibility to manage automated flows and follow-ups from multiple views.

Delivery Status History Visible to Admins

We have expanded data transparency by granting administrators visibility into Delivery Status History within the Visitor Activity page. Previously restricted to Super admins only, this update empowers your admin team to independently review message delivery logs, troubleshoot carrier delays, and audit communication health without needing to escalate the request.

Reporting & Analytics Overhaul

We have completely redesigned our reporting suite to transform raw data into actionable insights. The updated analytics pages feature clean layouts, highly descriptive in-depth tooltips for every metric, and automated color-coded health signals that make performance tracking effortless.

Key enhancements include:

  • Updated Scorecards: Key metrics including opt-out rates, average response times, and delivery success, now feature instant Green/Amber/Red health indicators evaluated against your targets so you can spot operational bottlenecks immediately. Also, every chart now includes a short description explaining what it shows.
  • Engagement Reports: The revamped Traffic Report now reads like a guided story, seamlessly covering agent responsiveness, campaign reach, conversation volume, appointments, and compliance. It also introduces new tracking for SMS/MMS segment counts, Opportunities Influenced, and after-hours lead capture insights.
  • Real-Time “Live" Monitoring: We have added recommended operational reports to the Live dashboard, allowing managers to monitor queue activity and agent workloads as they happen.
  • Channel Reports: Outcome metrics across Web Chat, Voice, and SMS are now much easier to scan at a glance. The report incorporates fresh Voice AI insights, adaptive time-period scaling, and dedicated performance breakdowns for connected channels like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Email.
  • Listener/Campaign Reports: Campaign analytics are now cleanly structured into four intuitive tabs: Overview, Lead Sources, Campaigns, and Compliance.
  • Dedicated Bookme Reports: For accounts with booking enabled, Bookme appointments now have a standalone report accessible directly from the left navigation. This section is divided into Overview, Performance, and Troubleshooting tabs to give you total control over your team's scheduling efficiency.

These updates demonstrate our ongoing commitment to enhancing the Botsplash platform and providing our users with a more efficient, personalized, and user-friendly experience. We believe these improvements will significantly streamline workflows, improve team collaboration, and ultimately drive greater success for all Botsplash users.
